 Ditto Pat - Wonderful to know there are still honest folks in the business world who treat duhs like us (when it comes to purchasing homes, we seem to fall on the funny side of "oops" sometimes)....we did take your advice, trotted ourselves over to Scotiabank immediately, began proceedings and within an hour we had our approvals in place.  They were quite happy to bridge the mortgage we held and even upped the ante in the event we needed more.  What is this world coming to?!? Two good things happening in one day - first we met a good guy - then we were given good news - the Lord is surely working to help us over our rough patch (inre Don's health)....I mean, my husband may be an agnostic, but I'm sure there are higher powers giving us a helping Hand!

 You can rest assured your name was given to them at the bank - they were mighty pleased with you!  You will be mentioned a few more times before we are done with them!  Who knows?  They might just feel "compelled" to give you a "finder's fee"...or whatever it is that keeps people smiling!

 Thanks again and now I'm praying this owner is ready to accept our offer and we can work on getting settled.  Is that asking too much? LoL
